Mobile Diagnostic Ultrasound Services

Mobile Diagnostic Ultrasound

For physicians, Sound Foundation offers mobile diagnostic ultrasound services on-location starting at only one half-day of service per week.

Not only do patients prefer the convenience and familiarity of having their testing done at their doctor’s office, but it also often costs them less money regarding their deductible versus having their testing done at a hospital.

If you are a medical provider, you can offer a convenient diagnostic ultrasound service to your patients, collect insurance reimbursement for ultrasounds ordered, have up-to-date portable ultrasound equipment, and a registered sonographer nationally-credentialed in all areas of ultrasound on-site…all Preventative Health Screening Equipmentwithout the great expense of additional employees and the cost of owning and maintaining expensive ultrasound equipment.

Sound Foundation offers the following diagnostic ultrasounds on-site:

  • Echocardiogram
  • Carotid Duplex
  • Aorta Duplex
  • Arterial Duplex

  • Venous Duplex
  • Abdominal
  • Small parts
Each exam is interpreted by a board-certified physician according to their area of ultrasound expertise:

  • Cardiac exams (echoes) are interpreted by Phillip Wines, MD at Saint Thomas Heart
  • Non-cardiac exams are interpreted by board-certified radiologists at Cleveland Radiology

All studies are stored in digital format and can be sent encrypted directly over the internet, burned to a CD or DVD, or transferred onto a USB jump drive.
